Welcome to Peru. After your arrival in Lima, you will have a private transfer from airport to your hotel with your guide. Please be aware of the sign with your name on it. Remainder of the day is at leisure and dinner is on your own.

Day 2

Lima

Start your morning early with a yoga class before going on a half day historical city tour of Lima.
The tour starts at Lima’s main square, where you can admire the governmental palace. Continue with a visit to the cathedral and its religious museum, where the conqueror Francisco Pizarro is buried. The your guide will then take you to the San Francisco Church and its monastery where cloisters and entrance hall are embellished with authentic tiles from Seville dating back to 1620.
After the city tour, return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure. Join the group later this evening for a welcome dinner at Cala Restaurant.

Day 3

Lima

Enjoy an early morning yoga class and breakfast before picking between two daytime activities.
AM Option 1: EXCURSION PALOMINO ISLANDS
Meet at the Callao Marina Yacht Club where we will have a briefing and then leave towards Callao Islands where we can see the anchorage of merchant ships, yachts and sailboats from Callao Bay.
During the tour, observe the open sea, rocky Islands, guano birds, fishermen boats at work, and Humboldt penguin rookeries.
Upon arrival to the far point on the route at Palomino Island, a group of sea lions will come to play with you while swimming, jumping and diving below the boat.
You are given the opportunity to put on a wet suits and jump into the water with life vests to swim and share the ocean with these gentle creatures who live in comfort because there are no predators. Being in the water close to the colony is an amazing moment for everyone who likes nature and wildlife.
After you return to the pier, the boat will pass amazing rookeries with bird colonies and once in calm waters, you will enjoy a snack while talking about the experience.
AM Option 2: BOHEMIAN AND BEACH BIKING TOUR
During this tour, explore one of the best boardwalks in the world, while we head to the bohemian part of the city, Barranco. Here we can enjoy a nice trip through the old train lines to see the old wood bridge “Bridge of sighs”. We continue our bike ride to a sea-view restaurant where we taste fresh “ceviche”, a local specialty in the city.
Upon return from your activity, the remainder of the afternoon and evening at yours at leisure to explore.

Day 4

Lima- Cusco- Sacred Valley

After breakfast, transfer from the airport in Lima to your selected hotel with your guide. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will have assistance at the airport before continuing to the Sacred Valley.
Your experience in the Sacred Valley begins with a visit to the Pisac Market. This market is one of the most famous markets in the Cusco region, drawing many visitors to its famous Sunday market when indigenous Quechua communities from the surrounding highlands come to Pisac to sell their produce and stock up on supplies for the week.
A large section of the market is dedicated to tourist-oriented souvenir stalls where you can find weaving, jewelry, ponchos, hats, Andean instruments, ceramics, alpaca products and a whole range of other gifts and souvenirs to take home with you.
During this time, you also have the opportunity to get to know Awanacancha, a place where you can see several species of Andean camelids such as llamas, alpacas, vicunas and guanacos. The locals will show you their traditional weaving and dyeing techniques while telling about this ancient tradition.

Day 5

Sacred Valley

Start your day with a an early morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco for a day full of culture and beautiful nature. Your first visit will be Moray, a small community famous for its embedded amphitheater that is formed by circular terraces which seems to disappear into the ground. Scientists think that Moray has played an important role in agricultural research conducted by the Incas.
We continue our visit as we head to the salt mines located near Maras dating from colonial times; a very photogenic place. Walk around the salt mines while your guide tells you about the history of this interesting place. Our day ends with a visit to Chinchero, believed to be the mythical birthplace of the rainbow. On Chinchero’s main plaza, find a colonial church built in the 17th century. On Sundays, mass takes place, but on that day you can wander around the market of the town. Enjoy lunch at Wayra Restaurant in Cusco before enjoying the rest of the evening at leisure.

Sacred Valley

Start your day off with breakfast at the hotel before picking a morning activity.
OPTION 1: AM RAFTING OLLANTAYTAMBO
Once we arrive at our Adventure Center, we will receive the safety briefing and begin our journey on the river for about two hours; appreciate beautiful Inca terraces and unforgettable landscapes.
At the end of the tour, enjoy lunch in our dining room set by the river banks, before returning to Cusco.
OPTION 2: AM EXCURSION STAND UP PADDLE
The tour starts in Cusco with an early pick up from your hotel. After an hour drive, we arrive in Chincheros, where Piuray Lake is located. This beautiful lake offers spectacular scenery, and plenty of birds. Start with a safety briefing and paddle technique on land, then enjoy the beauty of the lake. After an hour and a half of paddling along the lake’s shore, return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. This is an experience that will provide a great workout, challenge your balance and offer breathtaking views of the nature around you.
This afternoon, take part in an optional yoga class before having the evening at leisure to relax.

Sacred Valley- Ollantaytambo- Aguas Calientes- Ollantaytambo- Cusco

Start your day off with an early morning yoga class offering a spectacular view of the Sacred Valley.
After breakfast, transfer from Urubamba to Ollantaytambo station getting on the Vistadome train. The Vistadome train offers a unique connection with scenery along the way to Machu Picchu, making passengers feel as if they were somehow a part of the nature that surrounds them.
Upon arrival, enjoy a half day tour of Machu Picchu which was re-discovered in 1911 by the explorer Hiram Bingham. This citadel is considered to be one of the most extraordinary examples of landscape architecture in the world. Located in an enclave on the saddle of a mountain overlooking the deep canyon of the Urubamba River in an area of lush tropical forest, it served as a place of worship, a site for star-gazing and a private hacienda of the family of the Inca Pachacutec.
Machu Picchu was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. In 2007, Machu Picchu was chosen as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
After your visit, enjoy lunch at Tinkuy restaurant at Sanctuary Lodge before returning back to Cusco on the Vistadome Train.

Day 8

Cusco

Begin with a leisurely breakfast and an optional morning yoga class at the hotel. After freshening up, it's time to explore magical Cusco! This beautiful city has history from both the Inca and Colonial times. Start this half-day tour at Cusco’s main square, which was called Huacaypata (Warriors Square) by the Incas. While the guide tells you more about the history of this special place, admire the city’s cathedral that was built between 1560 and 1664 with the red granite stones from the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. The cathedral is one of the most impressive buildings in Cusco and hosts one of the most significant collections of gold and silver work of the colonial period.
We continue to Koricancha and the Convent of Santo Domingo. The convent was built on top of the most important Inca temple dedicated to the worship of the sun, with walls covered with gold leaves. As we wander through the streets of what was once the capital of the Inca Empire, you can feel as if you are traveling through time.
After freshening up on at the hotel, we will depart for a farewell dinner. Menus are elaborated by one of Peru’s most famous chefs, Jorge Luis Ossio and MAP Café is one of Cusco’s best restaurants.
