The best way to see Egypt's highlights is cruising down the Nile. This tour takes you on an unforgettable journey across Egypt to explore its greatest historical sites, from the ancient necropolis of Giza, where you will see the pyramids and the Great Sphinx, to the majestic cities of Luxor and Aswan once home to the country’s greatest kings and queens through a whimsical Nile cruise. In Luxor you will visit the largest Temple Complex of Karnak and the world-renowned Valley of the Kings, while in Aswan, the highlight of your visit will be the island Temple of Philae. Arrival - Cairo

Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival, transfer from Cairo international airport to the hotel for check in. Later at night, treat yourself to a dinner with a view of the three Pyramids of Giza in the background on a rooftop close by.

Day 2

Cairo full day tour

Start your day off with a wellness activity at the hotel and then depart for a mesmerizing tour of the three Pyramids, Sphinx and last standing 7th wonder of the ancient world. During your visit, you will have the chance to enter the Pyramids and ride a camel for an additional cost. After your visit, we will visit the famous Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive number of artifacts. You will also have the option of spending time at the hotel to enjoy the amenities at the hotel should you wish to forgo your visit to the Egyptian Museum. After return from the Egyptian Museum and freshening up, transfer to dinner for an evening at the 14th century souk of Khan El-Khalili. The bustling, maze-like corridors offer a unique shopping experience with everything from silverware to spices and handicrafts.

Day 3

Karnak & Luxor Temples

Take an early flight to Luxor and directly start your tour of Karnak Temple which was built over two thousand years ago. After a brief return to the cruise for lunch and sometime for wellness activities, you will enjoy an evening tour of Luxor Temple and travel through history as you see layers influence from King Amenhotep III and Alexander the Great.

Day 4

Valley of the Kings & Hateshepsut Temple

After a paid optional hot air balloon ride over the lush green Luxor West Bank, you’ll visit the Valley of Kings. During your tour, you will learn about where the famous treasures of King Tut were found and visit the Tombs of the Nobles to witness the inscriptions that show daily life in Ancient Egypt. The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut offers a feminist side of history, with grace and power in its architecture, and walls that recount her years of reign. Stop at The Twin Colossi of King Amenhotep III, which are not only impressive to behold, but also have a haunting history as an acoustic wonder of the ancient world.

Day 5

Tour of Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast, we depart to visit Edfu temple, home to one of the best-preserved temples in the world. We will also visit Horus temple, the second largest in Egypt. In this majestic and enormous sanctuary, the grand gate alone is sure to make your jaw drop. Learn more about this site from your guide as you stroll through vast hallways and massive chambers. The unique Kom Ombo temple is a set of two identical temples built for the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. Enjoy a wellness activity as you watch the sun set upon return to the boat.

Aswan Day Tour

On this tour, you’ll enjoy a journey to a few handpicked highlights. A felucca ride awaits to take you to the Philae temple. Enjoy the breeze and the flowing Nile river as you head to the mesmerizing island hosting the sanctuary. We continue to the High Dam, where you’ll witness one of the most important accomplishments in recent Egyptian history with a magnificent view of the Nile river. Upon return to the boat, enjoy a wellness activity on the rooftop as you take in the city of Aswan.

Flight to Cairo and closing dinner

After breakfast, take a flight to Cairo International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Later at night, treat yourself to a dinner on the Nile Pharaoh. Cairo’s luxurious cruising restaurant offers live entertainment, and a view of the twinkling skyline after sunset. Your meal comes with an oriental show of belly dancing as well as whirling dervishes, all offering a taste of Egyptian culture and a night to remember.

Departure

After early morning pickup, travel to the west bank of the Nile River, and board a shared balloon basket for a 30- to 45-minute flight. Then, as you ascend, behold the thrilling bird’s-eye views as the sunlight illuminates the mountains below.
