Experience Cairo and Aswan
This tour takes you to the two extremes of Egyptian culture, from the metropolis of Cairo to the serenity of Aswan. In Cairo, you witness the contrast of Egypt's ancient and modern history in one city highlighted as you see the Great Pyramids of Giza with the backdrop of Cairo's urban landscape and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in the heart of Cairo's Renaissance styled downtown. As we fly to Aswan, you will spend your time by The Nile in Egypt's most celebrated Anakatu Eco lodge where you can see the shades of blue from the Nile, the vibrant colors of green in the countryside and the golden desert image which is unique to Egypt. There, you will have access to swimming the Nile, sailing to hearty restaurants on one of the many islands owned by local families, and take a swim in the pristine waters of the Nile. Feast your eyes with history at the island Temple of Philae and the magnificent UNESCO heritage site of Abu Simbel among several other historical and cultural visits.

Arrival - Cairo

Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival, transfer from Cairo international airport to the hotel for check in. Later that night, treat yourself to a dinner with a view of the three Pyramids of Giza in the background on a rooftop close by.

Day 2

Cairo

Start your day off with a wellness activity at the hotel and then depart for a mesmerizing tour of the three Pyramids, Sphinx, and last standing 7th wonder of the ancient world. During your visit, you will have the chance to enter the Pyramids and ride a camel for an additional cost. After your visit, we will visit the famous Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive number of artifacts. You will also have the option of spending time at the hotel to enjoy the amenities should you wish to forgo your visit to the Egyptian Museum. After returning from the Egyptian Museum and freshening up, head to dinner for an evening at the 14th century souk of Khan El-Khalili. The bustling, maze-like corridors offer a unique shopping experience with everything from silverware to spices and handicrafts.

Day 3

Cairo - Aswan

After breakfast, take an early flight to Aswan and have a private transfer to an eco-lodge directly on the Nile. Enjoy a scenic felucca ride to visit one of the oldest civilizations in Africa. This colorful island in the middle of the Nile is home to many Nubians, leading simple lives, and in their own distinctive ways. The locals are very hospitable, and they’ll be happy to welcome you. Learn about their culture, traditions, and history as you sit with them for a traditional dinner and tea.

Day 4

Aswan

Start your morning off with a wellness activity at the hotel. After breakfast, you’ll head on a journey to a few handpicked highlights. A felucca ride awaits to take you to the Philae temple. Enjoy the breeze and flowing Nile river as you head to the mesmerizing island hosting the sanctuary. After your tour, we will continue to the High Dam. During your visit, you’ll witness one of the most important accomplishments in recent Egyptian history with a magnificent view of the Nile river.

Day 5

Aswan

Start your morning off with a wellness activity and breakfast. Enjoy a leisure day to relax and connect with fellow travelers as you take in this beautiful city of Aswan on the Nile River. You can also enjoy an optional tour to Edfu Temple at an extra cost and explore its magnificent architecture. In the evening you will take part in a Nubian dance party and cultural show.

Day 6

Aswan- Abu Simbel- Aswan

Start your early morning with a three-hour drive to Abu Simbel and a picnic box breakfast. Walk through the complex with its many impressive pillars and statues. Inside, marvel at the colors of the painted walls that are well preserved to this day. One of the most significant aspects of these temples is their solar positioning, allowing light to penetrate the sanctuary, illuminating the statues inside twice a year. Many people gather to witness this spectacle on October 22nd and February 22nd, which coincide with Ramesses II’s birth and coronation.

Aswwan - Cairo

After breakfast and a wellness activity at the hotel, take a flight to Cairo International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Upon checking in, you will have the day at leisure to relax or get a spa treatment at the hotel. Later that night, treat yourself to a dinner on the Nile Pharaoh, Cairo’s luxurious cruising restaurant. With live entertainment, the balmy Nile breeze, and a view of the twinkling skyline after sunset, your meal comes with an oriental belly dancing show, whirling dervishes, and a taste of Egyptian culture. This will surely be a night to remember!

Day 5

Optional Tour: Edfu Temple 
Journey north along the fertile lands of the Nile to Edfu and see one of the best-preserved temples in the Egypt. Let you guide bring the temple to life as you admire the imposing sandstone structure was built in honor of Horus, the falcon-headed god of war. The temple marks the site where he avenged his father Osiris' murder. Take in the statues of gods and pharaohs as you wander in awe through the inner sanctuary of the temple.
